Has anyone ever loaded a Geotiff as a background in Topsurv 7 or 8 ?

We tried in two 2500's but it can't find the .tiff file in the directory. I am positive it is in the directory because explorer on the 2500 can find it. Also, Is there a size limit for the background file before things slow way down?

I thought I might get an answer here before Topcon USA would get around to it. Prove me wrong. We know more than the local dealer about the software so no help there.

btw, the geotiff loads fine on a desktop version of topsurv, just not the 2500.

It can but you kinda have to hold your mouth just right. Is there a world file associated with the file? Also, the format of the georeference matters. Do you know if it is UTM or state plane, feet or meters? you can email me the file to daniel at hayesinstrument dot com

If you are in a spot where you need support which we all are at times you would be hard pressed to find a better resource than HayesHelp.com. It says exclusively for customers which I totally understand. To have a support person respond here is very generous. Thank you.
