OPUS now uses GEOID12 (when using NAD83[2011]), and access to the OLD realization (NAD83[CORS96]) will be terminated on July 15th.
So you procrastinators had better get busy!

Nice!
Even though the options are Geoid03 or Geoid09!

Who's got a public domain software package that will write a .ggf file WITHOUT having a proprietary package installed?
Cliff,
If you are looking for the Geoid12.ggf file, Trimble has it on their site.
Bryan,
I am looking for the software to WRITE a ggf file from the original GEOID12 data file. The original software to cut out a window from the geoid file was written by Dr. Brad Drew of NGS back in 1999, but the extract it writes does not have the ggf header info. I see that Trimble has software to write a ggf file and that Ashtech has the software to write a ggf file, so I'm looking for the public domain (or specs) in order to write a ggf file without proprietary software.
Howdy,
Does this help?
I agree with the authors on the desirability of the adoption of a well-documented geoid information file format.
Cheers,
DMM
Playing with the data a little.

Lots of recomputing to get the same NAVD88 Height.

Robbing Peter(ELL HT) to pay Paul (GEOID HT)?
Interesting, now that the elevation values are being computed, I would like to see what the difference will be in my neck of the woods.
