I have my Geodimeter 650 Bergstrand... I think that was made in 1996.? I recently added an S6.
I bet there are still some Topcon APL-1 and Geodimeter 4400 instruments still in daily use. The former came out in 1993 or so; the latter maybe even earlier.
I bought a 4402 used in 1993, so, I know they can be a bit older. Lost that one in a fire though
I used my Topcon GTS-802A today and will likely need it next week a few days. Not sure of the manufacture date, but there are remnants of what appears to be a 2000 on the base of it. Just purchased a 2007 Leica TCRP1203 R300 and I'm looking forward to taking delivery of it. Tired of getting all the cables hung up in the briars.

We had one of those until someone ran over it a few years ago.

A really great instrument but rather heavy.
