How good did it feel to finally throw out that huge roll of plans (I called it "The Yule Log") from that nightmare project, right in the dumpster?

We just cleaned house last week. Quite a few Yule Logs went into the recycle bin this A.M.:-)
It feels great!
Until I realize that I just threw out my as-builts!:-X
(only happened once, will never happen again)
When I worked for a small City the City Attorney advised us not to call them As-Built Plans because that implies they are complete and accurate. So we changed to "Record Drawings."
You know that it is an unwritten law that tomorrow the client will call with a question that can be quickly solved by refering back to those as-builts? :-X
The ONLY time that I ever REALLY need something is the day AFTER I have thrown it away. :excruciating:
