My new Ford Expedition (4 by 4) and the box I built with 3/4 plywood.?ÿ Also got a base/rover and a CORS station as well.?ÿ We only have 2 people in the department, but with 2 robots and GNSS equipment, we turn out a lot of road and drainage projects at the DOT.

I could look at a hundred different boxes and find something I don't like about each one. You will find things you wish were done differently. Just make notes for next time.

I would not have made the compartments quite as high and I have found that two tripods can fit in one wide slot but take up less space than two separate narrow slots. Thats just my preference so please don't take it as criticism. I do like the slide out tray with what looks like paint cans in it. I may have to steal that idea if I don't retire first.

Nice truck and setup. I ran small trucks and found out real quick 3/4ƒ? plywood was way to heavy for a box in a truck that size, and overkill for my needs. Used 1/2ƒ? for about 10% and 1/4ƒ? for the rest. In the few full size 4x4ƒ??s we had I still used that size box with no problems with support issues. ?????ÿ

My friend calls his Expedition the Extortion.?ÿ

I would take some of that orange paint that you have laying around and paint the corners of that rear hatch. I would be bouncing my head off of them all the time. You probably have to wear a hard hat though.?ÿ

Just quietly, the surface of that yard looks like it's holding together well.
