The heat here in AZ over the last couple of weeks have killed off both my main and backup batteries on both Total Stations. Does anyone have good recommendations on a recell group.
Thanks

He services both sides of the border.

I just got stuff replaced at Batteries Plus in Flagstaff. No doubt Vegas or Phoenix has them, maybe even something in stock.
If it's the same Lee I'm thinking it is, you have more kahoonies than me to work in that heat. Don't know how you do it dude. And yes, it has been a hot one for the past bit - even here.
Be safe. I've got charged up Trimble batt's if you may need some quick relief for a battery or 2. Call me
Dittos on Dias & Dias. Reliable service.
Yep same Lee, we have been hitting the field at sunrise and working 5 to 6 hrs trying to be done by noon. One thing for sure is I know when to call it, not going to push it and hurt myself or my most important helper (my wife).
Thanks for the info and the offer, I will keep in mind.

I'm planning on using PRIMECELL.

Used to be a place called
West Texas Battery Company, based in El Paso, Tx.
I found the equivalent replacement cells on EBAY and did it myself.
It's not magic. Cost: $15.00
West Texas Battery is my choice. The gal who runs it, used to be by herself, is good and quick and her prices are reasonable.

OK... now you have me tweaked... I may have to look into this.

I've recelled batteries for a couple different instruments (Topcon & Sokkkisa/Lietz).
I just got the Ni-Cad batteries w/ solder tabs and unsoldered the old ones and resoldered the new ones in place.
I've got a newer Topcon BT-56Q (I think). I need to take a better look at it.
