So far, only 141 of the thousands of members here marked their home base on the Members Map that Wendell created for us several weeks ago.?ÿ Maybe only two were added in the past week.
Take a look for yourself.?ÿ Go up to the black bar and click on members.?ÿ Then click on Members Map.?ÿ It's eazy peazy.
The orange box in the upper right corner will guide you to adding your location.

We know some beaches!!
I plan to send reminders via the email mailing list and also add something on the Welcome page for new members. 🙂
Wow, I didn't know that feature existed.
You snooze, you looze. Join the map. See where it puts you. It doesn't always land on the correct spot.
Looking at the USA members, you can see the line discussed in this YouTube video. Kind of funny as I watched these a few weeks ago and never thought about it before.
I made the map. Of all things the pin is just a couple of blocks from my actual office.
Seriously though, how long has this map been here?
It showed up 2 1/2 weeks ago

It doesn't always land on the correct spot.

Yea, all you Eskimos could rent an old school bus or church bus to drive to Miami, and catch a ride to St. Thomas on an outbound banana boat rather than spend all that money on airplane rides. Plus you could sell the video of the bus ride down to Netflix for a small fortune. Be sure and let me know the dates this pilgrimage is to take place.

The Surveyors Historical Society 2023 meeting is September 13-16 a little west of Houston. That would be another opportunity for people to meet.

Progress is being made. Finally, have a neighbor only 125 miles distant. He is located where the National Rifle Association maintains their main office.
I've got to be the loneliest surveyor in the world - at least until LukeNZ or any of the other kiwi lurkers (yes we know you are out there) put their pin on the board
Come on guys, you're letting the Southern Hemisphere down!
