Carlson 2008 standalone(autocad engine)
Any idea how to set it and for get it with the ltscale? No matter what I set it to, the next time i open the the file it has reverted to some default setting, that typical does not plot my linetypes the way I'd like to see them.
thanks for you help
You have to edit the template (dwt) file.
Jason
Yes you change it with Carlson's drawing settings dialog. There are a few things like that in Carlson Survey; the standard ACAD setting command is available but it doesn't stick.
Dave has it.

I miss the days when you would just walk in after a day in the field and smack the draftsman with a lath to make things work the way they should.:-)

You mean I shouldn't still be doing that to them to get them to fix my drawing templates, and profile preferences?? When did that get phased out? It must have been while I was pushing buttons on the data collector instead of paying attention again... 😉
:good:
Open any drawing. Click on Settings. Click on Drawing Setup. Set your Scale, Symbol size, Ltscale, etc. Carlson will keep the settings.
