I believe there is a setting that says something to the extent "automatically start measuring upon starting survey" and from there, there should be your parimeters on what to store. I have not personally done this, but I am going to try it tomorrow. It will be under tools and utilities or point store settings.

1. Go To Work
2. Survey
3. Function Button on Keypad
4. Config
5. Auto Points Tab - Select your parameters.

Hope that helps.
