This place is so dull right now. Is it the heat? Is it the work load? Are too many on vacation at once? Have we really run out of stuff to discuss that does not involve politics or religion? Now would not be a good time to brag about this site and encourage others to check it out.

Or, am I just an old curmudgeon.

I don't think some of us could ever get much duller..;-)

I have been busier, hotter and dustier than usual when I get in of the evening.
Can't speak for others, let's just hope it's because we're all busy.

I have noticed when the politics/religion subjects were going strong it often brought more people around to post surveyor related things. Kind of like people gathering around an accident scene to see what was happening. I think everyone is a little scared to post under politics/religion.

I don't know maybe you are just a dullard...

I think that you are way too young to be a curmudgeon. You have to at least reach your late 70's before a signifiant amount of brain cells have disappeared before you get mentally crusty.

But plaease spare us threads on pop culture/mass media of yore. It is kind of dull.

did I break any rules here?

I tried to download the usgs stuff to google earth, and got a spyware, malware, or other garbage. Deleted it. Now, none of my Carlson surveying software works right.

Say a prayer for those of us who are the victims of hackers and other virus enduring workers!

Just that time of year

All the forums I frequent get slow in the summer. Everybody is out playing or if working, too tired and hot to spend much time on the forums. By the time I get home I'm too tired to wade through all the P&R to find the real posts:whistle:
