Depends, but for surveys, no one reviews them in WA state. The person at the counter might make sure that you are following the rules as far as drafting standards and such, but that depends on the county, and is not a review.

Subdivision plats are reviewed.

Depends on which county you are filing the map in. The county to the North of me is a usually two weeks. The county I do a majority of my work in is months
