Would a sump pump in a sump pit count as ??lowest equipment? for the purposes of a flood cert?

I have no idea how bureaucrats would interpret the rules, but the thing was designed to be under water.

My interpretation of the instructions tell me YES.?ÿ I would specify the type of equipment and pipe size in the comments section.

The electric control box to the sump pump yes. The actual sump pump no.?ÿ
