Drill Hole Found

Looks like the middle one-third of the gigantic rock I found with a two-inch hole drilled in it (knocked over)  The rock was about three feet thick above ground (didn't dig under it) and 20-feet in diameter.  Had a beautiful 2-inch hand-drilled hole marking a Quarter Corner, I believe, in the home county of @squirl  It had pasture and cows completely around it.  About two miles from a cement plat.

I remember finding a center of section not far from a cement plant but there wasn't a hole, instead it was a "V" notched outcropping (that's what we called it anyway). Surprisingly, it was rather close to the calculated location of the center of section.

@holy-cow, it was the same section that involved that Indian Treaty boundary line down the county road. If I remember correctly, the treaty line was monumented with RR spikes and traversed back-n-forth across the county road.

Man that was a long time ago. Good times!
