Iƒ??m struggling connecting a newly acquired TSC2 to WiFi. ?ÿIt sees the WiFi signal, but will not connect.?ÿ

Maybe I have a setting wrong ?ÿ

My TSC3 and Ranger connect flawlessly.?ÿ

It depends on the WiFi... if you can't REALLY dumb down the security it won't connect. For instance, you can't connect a TSC2 to an iPhone. You need to be on something like WEP Open.

I could only make mine connect after I removed all the wifi security. Trying to make it work with a password seemed impossible.?ÿ

Bama,?ÿ I was in your situation last year. The Wi-Fi module built into the Trimble TSC2 works only with the older/slower IEEE 802.11b version of Wi-Fi.?ÿMost of the wifi problems with the TSC2 were due to the security settings. The TSC2 has an older operating system which doesn't recognize WPA2. If you knock the security on your mifi down to WPA it will usually connect. I wasn't able to connect iphone nor android. I bought verizon mifi Jetpack...you need to make sure that it's capable to transmit 802.11b version of Wi Fi.

Thanks, I'll look into that option.

We were able to connect TSC2s to AT&T MiFis, not sure exactly what model. We had to open them up.
