Your link didn't work amigo. All I get is a blank player screen.

Been lurking for a week or two now, first time posting.

It worked for me.

As usual, when I see your pictures, I think boring! You want some excitement, come to Illinois to survey, the endless corn fields are broken up by the endless bean fields. Last year, I worked on a job that had 60 feet of elevation change. Whew!, that was a brutal climb.

In all seriousness, the pictures are great!

Link worked after I downloaded a Plugin.

Daryl, Thanks for sharing the slideshow. That was a great way to spend part of my lunch break. As always, great pictures.

It worked perfectly for me. I know that you put that together for YOUR guys, but if you are going to make it available for US to see, then there is A VERY SERIOUS SHORTCOMING.

Where is the APPLICATION form? I am sure that not all was fun, that there were many long, hard, even life threatening days, but I am also sure that there would be lots of apps to work there.

I am too OLD, but I would give an excellent recommendation to "RAGOODWIN", a frequent lurker on this site. He is young enough, strong enough, and talented enough. Probably only question is whether he is "tethered" to Texas.

Excellent show.

thanx for sharing.

Geezer

Daryl,

Absolutely outstanding, as usual!
Love the music, who is it? (the first one)

Have a great weekend.

oh yeah...there's probably a buffering period...maybe 30 seconds or so. That first song is the White Stripes (300 MPH) then a Radiohead, Fun Lovin Criminals, lastly another Radiohead. Cant use iTunes music due to copyright protection security which is a shame since I bought the friggen things...

Thanks for the compliments..

A couple of the guys in the video are Georgia Surveyors who happened to see some videos I posted on You Tube a couple years ago in Georgia...and Voila!...now I work with them. So ya never know...

...yeah...its not all fun and games is right...pouring rain, cold temps, your in it all day long...and some ramshackle funky little village ......your in it...some convoluted survey...your in it....and sometimes especially around October you just want to go home because your so burned out...

But I wouldn't trade the surveying career for any other...because when its nice its really nice...no matter the state or project...especially if you have a group of good people who gel well...

That was awesome as always Daryl, thanks for posting here.

I'd say it was your best work, so far and I thought you set the bar pretty high the last time.

Thanks again,
Radar

Even though I HATE MOSQUITOES! I'd love to work with you.

Man, if Ansel Adams and Salvidor Dali had ever pursued a surveying career they would've chosen similar subject matter, but I doubt they would've done it any better.

As always, excellent.

Daryl.... OUTSTANDING... again. Its nice to see some of those surveys I approve from the real end of the deal.

Funny, I been there, you been here, but we taint had no time to drink those beers.
(America)

I am headed to Portland tomorrow, and you headed here. Maybe we will have the Happy Face tubes wag the wings at each other as we pass by. I will be in OR until Wednesday on the Deschutes 🙂

Job in Alaska :
Position Open

Position: Surveyor
Salary: $200 per hour
Qualification: Must be fast on your feet

this one is my personal favorite

Isn't it comforting to know that
when you are about to become
a bear's breakfast your buddy
is standing there taking photos?

There are Jobs out there. Occasionally

you need to step back and smile while searching.
