ala Bevis and Butthead... "hehe..hehehehehe...he said 'dust'..hehehe"
eight counts of uttering a forged instrument
That's a new one for me -- I had to look up "uttering a forged instrument." I had thought that "to utter" always involved speech, but have since learned that not to be the case.

That's utterly understandable - or as Holy Cow would say: udderly ...
Randy,
Do you ever wonder why all the nuts live in Florida? :-S
Something tells me if someone was arrested for posing as a doctor, the headline would not read "Jacksonville Doctor Arrested...."
This guy tried to get a job at a company that I know of and his brother put the kibosh on it. It's pretty bad when you can't even get a good reference from your brother.
Uttering a forged instrument is the charge that you get when you write a bad check...don't ask me how I know that...

I picked up on that myself...I guess we're all doomed to be like Rodney Dangerfield... "we can't get no respect.."

No kidding!
"A 48-year-old Jacksonville surveyor has been arrested and charged with conducting unlicensed surveys..."
Isn't that an oxymoron.
What exactly do they mean by "replicating"?
More of the same.

.., it is far more important to have a somewhat faulty measurement of the spot where the line truly exists than it is to have an extremely accurate measurement to a place where the line does not exist at all. (A.C.Mulford)
Sorry to be picky (but it's what we surveyors do), but the above statement appears to be in error. To my understanding it should read ...extremely precise measurement...
That is all.

It is a quote of A.C. Mulford. I can't change his words, but I think I agree with you.

I'm well aware of the dictionary definition of the word thank you. I just haven't heard it used before with regard to the marking of an existing boundary.
