Several weeks ago I saw someone here recommend Atlas Electronics for doing a screen replacement on their data collector. Well our Ranger was having some major screen problems, and we were impressed with their claim to a 2 day turn around, so after calling them, giving them all the info on the Ranger, and their telling us that yes they could replace the screen and the 9 pin serial port (one of the pins had broken off) and get it back to us after 2 working days. That was 3-1/2 weeks ago. Their excuse is that the screens they got from the manufacturer did not fit! We have been in touch with them 2-3 times each week, each time we get the run-a-round with promises to call back and give us updates, which they rarely did. Now they say they have ordered 50 screens, but are unsure when they will arrive! They are coming from Hong Kong! We are tired of paying rental fees for a replacement, so now they are sending it back to us, without even fixing the 9 pin port.:pissed: I would not recommend these guys to an enemy!
Sorry to hear that, I have always gotten good service from them on the things I got from them. Just goes to show, that you really are only as good as your last job. I hope this is their exception, rather than their new rule.
