Matt just sent me this picture of a 1932 Aspen BT from his i-phone.

Not the oldest we have found on this project (by a long shot), but one of the rare "blazed" Aspens that had GOOD scribing visible.

Aspen, wow, they aren't the longest lived trees around here, kinda like cottonwoods, grow fast die young, that one looks very healthy.
