It's a shame we lost that topic when the old RPLS was axed by Kristi. It was a fun topic to watch grow.

"The Experience" was a seedy motel in West Sacramento, CA. It was torn down by the City of West Sacramento last year.

I started at 12.
I am 33 and will turn 34 this year.
I passed the SIT at 22 in 2000
I passed the RPLS at 25 in 2002

So, I have 21 almost 22 years experience total with almost 10 being licensed.

I was the second to last group to sit without a degree. I graduated college when I was 29.

I am Kris Morgan, Registered Professional Land Surveyor No. 5655 by the State of Texas.

Started Outermost Land Survey, Inc. in 2002/ age 45

Total number of employers: James L. Murphy and Assoc. Nashville, TN; Ragan Smith and Murphy (after merger), Nashville, TN; Kevin Tucker and Assoc. Nashville, TN; Nickerson and Berger inc, Orleans MA was soon bought by Coastal Engineering Co. inc..then outermost Land Survey, inc. Really just three employers not including myself

Number of states licensed in: Currently just 1, ma, but previously, TN, WV, and KY

Type of degree: Phd in Hard Knocks, from Univ of life...
