I'm curious if you feel that an old farm dump, would be viewed as a "solid waste dump" per ALTA Table A no. 18?

I would say when in doubt, call it out.
I'd probably note it if you feel it was a dump? If its A collection of equipment that all can be moved, it probably wouldn't qualify in my book. Better to report than not IMHO.
Say future buyer is hit with major cleanup costs or environmental concerns relating to it and your survey doesn't show it.:-S

That would be sanitary waste, no matter how unsanitary. The correct term in this case is solid waste.
And I would show it regardless of definition, and regardless of whether it was an ALTA survey.
I would avoid the use of the undefined term 'farm dump'. Stick with names that can be found in Blacks or Websters. If no term fits write a note. My 02...

Identified one of those once on a route survey through rural farm country. The first guy who saw it made an inquiry. Asked if he had ever driven down that road. He said he had not. Told him to call me back after he had done so. He called back. He understood precisely what I had meant. Middle of summer with one swampy corner full of fat hogs cooling themselves in the muddy water/grass. Probably at least an acre in size that was unfit for human habitation once the hogs headed that way.
