Google GWL control panel.
It will stop win10, and allow you to control when and if, find the files and keep or delete them.

And for those who don't have the Win10 nag notifications removed from their system, please be aware, MS just changed the Win10 box over the weekend. Now it will come up and tell you need to install Win10, and CLICKING ON THE X IN THE TOP RIGHT OF THE BOX (that normally cancels or closes a dialog box) ACTUALLY AUTHORIZES THE WIN10 INSTALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW is that just underhanded - and it really feels like Malware.
Google win10 news for more info.

If your on Windows 8 and getting the free upgrade offer you should be jumping up doing flips for joy. 8 is God awful. Windows 10 brings it much more back to being productive.

It sucks doing it during work tho, I agree. Let it go overnight. If you will lose the free upgrade then just suck it up and lose the time. Windows 8 is right up there with Vista as the worst iteration created.

The jump from XP to W7 was a lot bigger than from W7 to W10.

I'm liking Win10 so far. Not that it does much that Win7 didn't do, but it seems to be stable and has some useful UI features. I just wish my I could bet my Peachtree registration working.

They supposedly are giving us a free upgrade to W10. Now we all know free is never free. I still have not heard more then a rumor on what it is going to cost the average consumer down the road though. Any more word on that?

No idea about the sales price, I am guessing less that $150. In the past you could buy OEM (good for one machine only) or Retail that is good for one machine at a time, but any machine you choose... or something like that.
I own a Retail W7
I don't think they plan to Sell it in the future, just a Rent situation like the "upgrade".

I drilled down on the MS site and found a Windows10 ISO and downloaded it. I have that stored for future use. It is big, almost 4GB. (lots of bloat)

W7 File Explorer has a useful bar below File Edit View Tools Help with:

Organize | Open | Print | Burn | New Folder

I use the New Folder button often.

I don't see the bar in W10...right click then choose from the menu works but is more clunky because you have to find New then Folder.

There's a folder icon somewhere near the upper left corner that creates a new folder. I use it a lot. (I'm not in the office at the moment, so can't describe it more accurately.)

While I've been home recouping from TKR, got an email from IT at work...
"We went ahead and updated your workstation to W10..."

I'll let you know next Monday (maybe) how it goes.
