Well my belt replacement went smooth as silk. Almost too good to be true. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I anticipated. Took me just under 4 hours to get everything in order and calibrated. Here are some pics, not real informative but I didn't like stopping and redirecting my attention.

Everything taken off that needed to be.

This is the old belt, long overdue.

I'm glad someone here mentioned cleaning the spittoon, it needed it BAD!
Thanks again for all the help!

Good job, now what will it take to get you to help me with changing mine?

I did that not long ago for my HP 450C. The place I ordered it (I can't remember now) sent me the parts and a DVD with all the instructions I'd need. 4 hours later, I was printing like new. When the belt went, you really knew something happened. It made all kinds of racket.
