I keep wondering if it is a standard size and I could just order one for a samsung tablet or something.
I don't bother using one on the company tsc 7s.?ÿ Do they help with reading the screen in bright sun?

Dont know about sun. They do make matte ones, so maybe.
For me it is more about protection, as they seem to hit the ground a lot more than other form factors.
Yeah they're so heavy they tip the rod over.?ÿ Another reason I'm not a fan of these things.
Anyway, yeah a matte screen might work.?ÿ The one I'm using gets a thin layer of dust on it and becomes almost impossible to read.
IMHO, matte is the GO. Stock screens are reflective and in sunlight you are constantly trying to focus through your reflection. Matte cuts that nonsense out.

One should have come pre-installed on your TSC7 by your vendor. My unit and protector are 2.5 years old and cannot tell it??s there but it is. ?ÿI wipe water over my units screen and ground contact points every morning before field use drying the screen with microfiber cloth.?ÿ
I an not sure there??s any third party protectors but a generic tablet one won??t fit, just look at the shape of the screen.?ÿ
