Trying to run some simple PPK surveys. Have an R7 GNSS and R8 model 4 and running new version of Trimble Access on the controller. Processing with Trimble Business Center. Have done this many times before with older Trimble equipment, and older TGO software. I think the new stuff is realy good but I need some prompts to get me there.
I'm sure I run R7 in static base mode as usual.
R8, I made a rover style for PPK. I set that as current style. Then General Survey, then Instrument and connect as rover. Then out to main menu and Measure then PPK then Measure Points then get started. Set first point for a fix and then rove through my shots.
But when I import into TBC it just processes the first long point to fix. I don't even see the other data.
Am I missing a setting? Does field procedure sound right?
you probably checked this, but where is the data recording, the data collector or the rover? Sometimes you set the data to be collected in the rover and think it is collecting in the DC.
You definitely need to check your Survey Style and see where the static file is logging to; if it's the receiver it needs to be imported separately into the project.
If I was going to do a PPK survey I'd want a 1 second logging rate, so I definitely would prefer to log to the receiver memory. If you are logging to the collector make sure you're using a cable, not Bluetooth.
Store Continuous as Trajectory should be Yes in your Project Settings if you want the trajectory, not just the points.
