What is the typical workflow from instrument to Starnet, using Topcon Tools? The first image is from the Topcon Tools manual, which shows a ton of file types (including .txt and .csv),

But the second, from Starnet, seems a lot more vague. If all that is being used in Topcon Tools is the TS module, does one even need it to import data to Starnet? There is a third program (Topcon Link), that appears to be simply a file converter.

Any advice on this process?

I do not use Topcon Tools, but my copy of Starnet Pro is looking for .tvf files from Topcon Tools. I do not own the converter for TS data, so I can't help you there.

This site lists the various files the converters are looking for.

No help here - I only use Tools to process GPS for raw vector export.

If you know any CAD you might be better off trying a demo of Microsurvey or the C&G menus from Carlson. Either app will download your TS, allow complex edits & setup standardization for your raw data, & then export a 90% ready to go StarNet .dat file.

You can export an rw5 from the Topcon. That should also convert for you.
