So, when I returned from lunch today I found my computer happily upgrading Win10.

Upon completion I found that my mornings work was not on the drawing when I reopened it.?ÿ No biggie I figured, just use the autosave and pick up from there.

I used to be able to find the SV$ and rename the extension from SV$ to .dwg.?ÿ?ÿ I have found the?ÿsaved drawing way down there in the folder but the SV$ is not showing?ÿand, therefore, I can't change the extension.?ÿ I have searched through the various Win10 "My Computer" options but cannot find one that allows the extensions to show and be edited.?ÿ Although I did make the changes that I did find, such as, Under General Properties, the Attributes are unchecked; Security is set to Everyone;

My question is twofold; How can I change the SV$ extension, and what can I do to store the Temp files somewhere more accessible?

?ÿ

Thank you,

Don

To change the autosave path, I think you use the options command and then you have access to change?ÿthe support file path.
