Is anyone else having issues with their basemaps being incredibly slow lately? 20+ seconds to refresh the screen.
Basemaps are not of any larger size than any before this problem occured. Have tried saving as older formats of?ÿ AutoCAD DXF. No blocks. No weird line types or text or anything irregular. Waiting on Support to get back to us, so I thought I'd check with the pros.
What kind of data collector??ÿ A reboot sometimes helps.
TSC3. Reboot isn't the issue.
One thought is that your on-board memory might be nearly full. Another is that these things benefit from an occasional complete resetting and reloading of the program. Like maybe every couple of years or so. Mine got to the point where I was rebooting 2-3 times a day. Reloading the program completely fixed the problem.
Did this start happening immediately after an upgrade? If not, it probably isn't a program bug.
So the problem seems to be with the AutoCAD export process. Some setting somewhere is adding background noise. A quick import and re-export with TBC produces an much smaller and less cumbersome DXF.
