Question for survey pro users. Anyone know a way to take a side shot while in map screen without having to exit and go to traverse/side shot screen? ?ÿCanƒ??t seem to find a way to do this.

Thanks

I believe that pressing that big center button on the keyboard (TSC3) will cause the shot to be recorded.?ÿ

Click and hold inside the map and wait for the pop-up. Then click "survey mode".?ÿ

You can set your data collector up with shortcuts for specific buttons. Itƒ??s under the settings tab. Also you can make a shortcut drop down menu that will be in the upper left of the screen. You can make it have whatever you want in it and easily switch between tasks. Just be careful when switching from regular shots to D/O shots. Sometimes it will not remember the correct point number so just be mindful of it so you donƒ??t overwrite points.?ÿ

The one of few operations I dislike about S.P. Is switching between menu operations, it closing the menu when you switch to another one. ?ÿI was use to the way Survey Controller worked. ?ÿYou open a menu and you are able to open another menu, even having the other one open. ?ÿ

That can easily be overcome by adding the menus that you frequently want to switch between to the "quick pick" then assigning the quick pick menu to one of the horizontal dash buttons at the top of the TSC3 keyboard as a hotkey. Or just use the quick pick star menu at the top of the screen.
