I have been using Survey Pro for a long long long time.

Now I am using SurvCE with my GNSS and find the cogo quite cumbersome in comparison.

Would someone let me know how I can create a parcel by area. I have a parent boundary and need to create the the west 10 acres.

This is done under the "slide" function in Pro, keeping the east line of the new parallel to the west line of the parent.

I talked to acquaintance who used SurvCE in Washington for 6 years and he has no memory of using a function like this.

Thanks for your help.

And you may need to put an "a" after 10 when you input to get 10 acres vs 10 sqft.
