Is LDD still available for purchase? Like 2009 Civil3D with the Ldd companion?

Try Carlson first, you'll likely love it.

I just switched from carlson to Traverse PC . There is a learning curve if your a cad guy . But stick with it. I am using Traverse PC 100 % for everything . I will keep carlson around but it will not get much use.

There was an LDT2009. It is Win7 compatible. After that, no more LDT.
A motivated sales person might be able to fix you up.

I have recently switched from LDT to Carlson and I'm not interested in switching back.

What? Traverse PC is better than Carlson? In what world?
I think the issue here is actually that you figured out how to use Traverse PC through "a tough learning curve", but were never able to really learn Carlson.
No one likes software that they do not know how to use. Now I am full circle back to ranting about actual software training.
There's nothing that Traverse PC can do that Carlson cannot do. With its Field To Finish setup, Carlson has power features that Traverse PC lacks. IF you know how to set it up and use it.
