I see one can create a centerline, but within Carlson survey, it appears only single vertical curves can be calculated and they are not able to be associated with the centerline alignment file for printouts. It that correct?

I don't have access to just Survey, but just for grins issue this at the command line pro3dpt
That's the command for creating a profile from 3d points.

You may have access to some commands, that are not in your survey menu.

In Survey module select the surface tab and choose Input-Edit Profile File.
I am running CARLSON SURVEY 2015.

This will let you enter a profile manually.

You are correct some of the above commands to appear to have activity, others do not. I like you had access to the civil suite before and there was not a issue. Working in CarlsonCG feels like I moved back to the DOS era. I think it is a no brainer to just pickup a seat of Carlson Civil.

I use civil/survey so I do not know how much they have limited the survey module.
I just know that people with the survey module have access to more tools than the menus elude to.

In Carlson Survey, check the Surface -- Input-Edit Profile command as suggested by Eric Williams. After you've specified the desired name of your profile, you'll be able to add station/elevation and vertical curve information. Also within this dialog box is an option for establishing an association (Reference) to a centerline file and there is a Report option that should allow you to generate a needed report.

I hope this information helps.
