So I'm trying to get a project out this weekend...2 miles 100' wide roadway topo.
The problem is that every time I go to edit the surface (swap TIN edge, etc) the contours disappear. Even when on a locked layer and after a regen. Gone.
I'm also running into an issue that says "ERROR: Exclusion boundary not closed". I didn't pick an exclusion boundary.
I've recovered the drawing, made a new tin file...everything...any ideas?

Are you sure you're not selecting entities when the software is asking for an exclusion perimeter? (instead of hitting enter at the "hit enter for none")
