Okay, I've seen this once before but can't remember for the life of me where the setting is. The elevations will only display to the nearest tenth in drawing, how do I change it back to two decimal places?
It should be........Settings.....>..Units Control
> It should be........Settings.....>..Units Control
Yes, change the PRECISION TO 0.00'
And while you are in UNITS, change ANGLE to SURVEYOR'S UNITS.
or, if you click on Draw-locate points, and pick the elevations box it will allow you to pick the elevation accuracy. This way you can draw ground shots to a tenth and hard shots to the hundredth...(Draw by range)
Thanks Foggy
That did it. Strangely the other two replies did not.
Thanks Foggy
The Draw-Locate Points elevation block controls the decimal places for elebations, the UNITS command controls the number of decimal places for distances and coordinates.
You can change the precision of the elevation attributes on existing points at any time using Points > Edit Multiple Pt Attributes

Hi,
This is my first post, I am adding to a previous thread.
I am not sure if the previous discussion is applicable to Carlson SurvCE V2.5 which I have. Purchased in New Zealand if that makes a difference.
I would like the ability to round the elevation attribute to less decimal places to quote on a Drawing for existing Ground Levels. I have tried to find what was suggested but can't quite find it.
When I have exported the DXF to AutoCAD LT it is very difficult to do it there either.
Thanks for any help
