Dear Sir or Madam,
I am reviewing the subject of False Northing and Easting and general map origin concepts per the first attached picture. Is the geodetic (true) "origin" (first pic) from the location vector or from the base of the perpendicular to the ellipsoid (shown in the second pic)?
I would assume that the CAD file origin is also the "origin" (shown in the first image) or grid origin.
