I am not sure if I have the right term. I imported a drawing from an Architect....I know, I know, a nearly fatal error, and it changed all my Autocad settings. Now when I try to snap to objects, the "pick box" is very sensitive. I have to be really close to get a perpendicular, end of line, or other snap point. Is there a setting on how sensitive this is? It is much more particular than it used to be.

If you type in "OP", it will bring up your options box. There is tab that allows you to change those settings to suit your taste.

APERTURE controls the magnet strength. 1 is weak and 50 strong.

I will try adjusting the aperture. It was set for the very minimum.

Sam:

You had the right term in the beginning.

When you've finished futzing around with the above, type PICKBOX on the command line. My aging eyes are quite satisfied with 8, but this is relative to the size and resolution of your screen. My new monitor is a high resolution bugger.

Anyway...my two cents worth...
