I'm using ACAD Map 3D 2014 with Windows 7 Pro. I've always been able to press and hold the mouse wheel down in order to pan, but it's suddenly quit working. Looking at "mouse" in the Control Panel doesn't allow me to check the CAD specific settings for the mouse wheel. I did change the mbuttonpan variable from 1 to 0 and back to 1 again to no avail. Any ideas why this is not working anymore? Thanks!

Ditto

Wheel is probably worn out or has lint in it like the old mouse used to get in the ball on the bottom. A new mouse is cheap.

Based on the furry mug in your avatar I'm guessing the problem might be a little "hair of the dog" as they say.

That is a pic of one of the fiercest canines on earth, trust me. Thank God they only weigh a couple of pounds.

If Staffordshire Terriers (aka pit bulls) had the juevos of a Chihuahua, they'd be outlawed for sure.

Chica and her big brother Gio

This was 5 pound Chica (we adopted the elderly little honey a couple of years ago) meeting Gio, our 130 pound Maremma* for the first time. You're right paden, she doesn't know she's little. She tunes Gio up when he needs it and he backs off.

I think she looks like Mighty Mouse's grandma in my avatar pic.

*Maremmas are an Italian livestock guardian, not a herding dog, similar to the Great Pyrenees.

Hairy mug story

Yesterday I was chatting with the county director of the road and bridge department. He wears a scraggly beard that normally looks like its been three weeks since he has shaved. My beard is approaching Santa Claus dimensions (and color) at this time. I was questioning him about an issue that had arisen in the past couple of weeks involving school zone signs near Amish schools. He explained that he had met with a lady from that community earlier in the day to get more specifics about what they hoped to have the county do to make it safer for the dozens of kids walking the county gravel roads to and from school. He said the lady had more hair on her face than the two of us together. OMG, I sure hope he was overstating the circumstance. Electrodialysis is probably out of the question. Sure hope she doesn't read this.

I passed Sandy Claws proportions months ago...I'm working on being a stand-in for a fat Uncle Cy on Duck Dynasty.

And I still haven't been shorn. It turned cold again and I want to keep my winter coat as long as I need it. Money Penny hasn't changed the locks yet, so I'll keep the fur for a while longer. It's too bad the local community theater isn't putting on "The 10 Commandments", I'd be a shoe-in for Moses. 😉

Fixed it, I think.

After reading the replies here, I figured it couldn't hurt to push that button down and roll it back and forth with a lot of pressure. I must have gotten that piece of schmutz out of there, because I can now pan again with wild abandon. Heh.

Hairy mug story

No need to alter your locks until she alters the ones on the doors.

Moses had transportation with two wheels but only a couple of horses.
