A question with ambiguity. Do you want something that shows you where monuments are on a map, something that will direct you to a particular monument, or something that beeps, sings, hollers or farts when it's near one?

For the first category, here's what I would do on my Pixel 2.?ÿ I would go here https://www.ngs.noaa.gov/datasheets/ ?ÿ ?ÿand click on the map. Then I would enter a nearby town and state and zoom in on the map until I found some monument or monuments that I liked. Perhaps an iPhone can do the same.

For the second category, I would enter the coordinates of the monument in the search field of Google Maps and ask for directions from my current location. When I ran out of driving room, I would request walking directions to the monument from from my new current location. Mind you, I've never tried this procedure, but it seems reasonable that it might work to some degree.

For the third one, I would first use either?ÿ 1 or 2 above and select an appropriate individual to take with me.

I know nothing of apps because I still carry a flip phone. However, I do have this to offer. If the mark is a bench mark only and the datasheet lists the horizontal position as "scaled", the plotted location (in the NGS Data Explorer tool) can be hundreds of feet off, even on the wrong side of the road, from where the mark is on the ground. In those cases, you must read the datasheet carefully to actually navigate to the correct location.

@bill93

Benchmark is a good one. You just have to have cell service. It's a life saver when the benchmark you planned to use isn't there.
