I am using Carlson Survey 2015 in Autocad 2015 and having trouble getting my dashed line to show correctly in Paper Space in Layouts 1 and 2 at different scales. Can the LTscale be set for each Layout so that Layout 1 at 250 scale and Layout 2 at 50 scale will show what is drawn in Model Space. I am able to change the LTscale to get the Model Space to change, but not understanding what setting I need to use in Paper Space. I remember seeing it on here before.

TIA
Ed Killough, NCPLS

Set LTSCALE to 1 and PSLTSCALE to 1. Then linetype scaling will be governed by your viewport scaling.

In autocad, I have had better luck with the ltscale set to 0.5 and psltscale to 1.

Another option is in your model space, the LTscale under Settings, Drawing Setup, Line Type Scaler could be set to 0.5. In Paper space the PSLTscale could be set to 0.

One problem with Carlson 2015 is that once you dimension something, the Line Type Scaler automatically sets to 1.000 and is fixed for the remainder of the drawings life. They would issue a patch if enough people complain to their tech support.
