I'm on Survey Pro 5.7, never got around to learning road templates, but I'm trying to now. It seems pretty straight forward so far, but one thing I am a little confused on is when my cross sections in the plans skip over a station that has a single PI in one of the lines. I assume that I would need to make another complete template to account for this single PI, but would it require a template with all segments from curb to curb or is there a way to interpolate all other template segments and then just enter in the PI by itself into a template for that specific cross section?

I'm just wondering if there's a way to save time on entering these templates or any other tips your guys might have on them.

It's hard for me to visualize this but you may be able to use the widenings function.

I'm not sure you can account for the intersection in the template. Carry on through it, build the template for the intersecting road and it will all work itself out.
