How do I anchor this button menu to the right side next to the properties boxes like the two columns are nicely done on the left side?
When I drag the button menu bar over to the left they just snap nicely into place.
When I drag it to the right it just keeps going on over to my second monitor screen. It never snaps into place...
Close properties and try to move to right side. It's tricky.
Not sure if where you grab the palette has any bearing?
Then open Properties on preferred side.
It's a real hit and miss from my experience, you're not alone.

Sounded good to me, no luck though. Tried grabbing every which where on the palette. I feel like it is somehow related to the fact that I have two monitors, maybe? But then again, the properties box anchor correctly to the right side...
EDIT:
In fact this particular "dimensions" palette will not anchor to the left side either. Hmmm?
[sarcasm][/sarcasm] Try a bigger hammer....
I've had the same problem when trying to dock the dimension bar on the right side also. Other toolbars will dock there just fine. I'm wondering if it has something to do with that one in particular.
I have noticed the toolbars I have across the top shifted left every now and then when I open the program. I have to find the dang command button again and again.
It might not dock on the side because it has a pull down menu at the end of it.
Try pressing and holding the Ctrl button while trying to dock it.

I believe azweig has it correct. If you want/need this toolbar docked vertically, your best bet would be to re-create your own dimension toolbar with the desired dimension options and leave off the horizontal-based drop-list control.

Agreed. Or create macros for the dim commands you use the most and just use the keyboard.
