Hello I am brand new to this community and I am in need of help. My Carlson Survey 2017 OEM software continues to crash after I use Draw->Image->Raster Image. Immediately a Fatal Error occurs and then crashes the program instantly. I have powered CPU on and off, Uninstalled and Reinstalled my software. I have ran the program as a Administrator with no avail. I have looked the FE code up on google and similar forums but have not found any useful information to advert this problem. If anyone has any solution that could work what so ever it would massively appreciated.?ÿ
I would suggest contacting Carlson support ([email protected]).?ÿ They've always been very helpful in solving issues that I couldn't figure out on my own.
Out of curiosity, can you share what the FE message said?
Is it happening in a specific drawing or does it do it in any drawing??ÿ
It appears to do this in every job I open now so I am unaware what I must have done to cause this issue.
Manually (don't use Windows Update) verify that you are using the latest drivers for the graphics card in your machine.

As Mark said, the next thing to check is the video drivers. A lot of issues are tied to the video cards.
If you've applied updated video card drivers, you might also explore the GRAPHICSCONFIG option:
Turning off Hardware Acceleration may correct the problem. I hope this information helps.
Are you waiting for the image preview to finish before trying to insert? It will then crash me out.
For some reason my Carlson Survey sometimes reports my tif file is not a tif file, but it takes awhile to get around to telling me that.?ÿ
