Does anyone know how to capture an image inside Google Earth that I can bring in to Carlson? Looks like I need to make a "KML" or a "KMZ" file....?
TIA
IF your trying to go into intellicad version of Carlson type Google_image and follow the directions. This will bring an google image into Carlson on coordinate base . Some version of Carlson seem to have upgraded this out of the command set .
Another work around is to plot a couple points in google earth using lat and lon and then use the windows snipping tool and make a jpg file and insert it into Calson and scale and move based on the points in the drawing.
In Carlson 2013
Going into Google earth from Carlson use the kmlwrite command.

Just save the image by using FILE-SAVE-SAVE IMAGE.

Thanks, djames! The Google_image command worked, although for some reason a window came up first that said "Carlson SurvGNSS is not enabled" with a countdown timer. I had to wait for the timer to reach zero. ugghh
