Hi guys!
Anybody can enllighten me about Fieldgenius capability to change instrument on fly? I haven't tried it before as I didn't have the opportunity to use different instruments in a single site situation using the Fieldgenius. I have three licenses of Fieldgenius and I am considering upgrading.

Haven't done it for a while, but when I did it was just a matter of "Disconnect" then "Connect" to instrument of choice., be it TS or GPS.
I do it if need couple quick coords and use internal GPS.
But did it withTS & RTK in previous years.
It's seamless.
Version 8 has seen some changes that now make it more user friendly.
I agree with Richard, with this note:
If it's between "guns", make sure your target manager defaults for each gun are set for the prisms you are using. When you "swap" instruments in the software, the targets will change to the defaults associated with that gun (I'm using version 7).
Switching instruments on fly can be seamlessly done in Leica SmartWorx environment. I think it can be done as well in SurvCE. I just hope it can be seamlessly done as well in the lates FG version.
