I tried to clone up to a 500GB SSD and something messed up and neither the original or new SSD would boot. So I decided to reinstall from the original disks for Win 7 Pro. Since I needed to reinstall all software I just decided to then upgrade to Win 10 Pro. So far things going fairly well just need to find the right drivers. I now have an HP Small Form Factor Workstation with 500 Gb SSD and 32 Gb RAM plenty much for me. Also has a 1 Tb hard drive and I have a NAS and cloud backup.

I'm still using a HP DesignJet 600 Plotter. I had managed to get it to work under Win 7 Pro but no luck with Win 10, the Win 7 64 bit drivers won't work. I searched around a bit and found a guy that said the new HP Universal Print Driver HP-GL/2 and HP RTL drivers worked although no mention by HP that it does. So I downloaded it from HP, installed on the Print Server (DP-301P+) hooked to the plotter and it works! Still some tweaking to do in the set up but I suppose the old HP 600 lives a bit longer. I don't plot much anymore other than for Mylar's that must be filed. Most all is PDF's anymore.

So if you have an old HP plotter you still wish to use a bit and you are going to Win 10 Pro this might be a solution.
