Irfanview will open dwg and save tiff
ok - and do I have to install Irfanview? How would I make this work? thank
?ÿ
Yes, for Jim's procedure you have to install Irfanview, it is free.
Or you can save the DWG to PDF, then with Adobe PDF you can save to a TIFF.
Have you tried sending the client a PDF?
Hi Lee, long story, but can not send pdf, must send tiff. I've never done that. If I save dwg to pdf, can you explain how to convert to tiff in Carlson, or download irfanview? thanks as always. w
Yes, I can, you need Adobe Acrobat.
If you don't have it. Just send me the PDF, and I can save to TIFF.
Lee, I have "acrobat reader DC", but it apparently only lets me save to pdf, from pdf. Please tell me what kind of adobe to get and install, and I should be able to make that work.?ÿ

thanks w
I use the paid subscription?ÿof Adobe Acrobat.
Once you get the drawing to pdf format, there are a number of free pdf to tiff converters on the internet.?ÿ

Well I'm a little late to the game. Did you try the tifout command? It's a standard autocad command.
I don't know if it is a intellicad command
