Hi,
Starting up the plotter and the following screen is visible.

A search on the web says problems with the formatter card. I've unplugged it but nothing happens. A replacement part is 570€. Is it worth it without knowing this is going to work?

Greetings.

Have you replaced any print cartridges lately? My Designjet 540 quit working. I had replaced the black cartridge a couple of weeks before. HP told me I needed a firmware upgrade. A local office repair man discover one of the HP supplied Ink cartridges was bad. We replaced it with a new cartridge and it works fine. Seems they have software inside the ink cartridges than can make you plotter quit working.

I've tried that, it doesn't work. I've just ordered a replacement formatter-card.
