Yesterday, I tried calling Carlson tech support for at least 20 minutes, and the phone was busy. Finally got through. That is first time that has ever happened.
HOWEVER, today when I call, ATT operator comes on and says the line is out of service, and PROVIDED ME WITH THE NAMES AND NUMBER OF THREE COMPETITING BUSINESSES, NONE OF WHICH WERE CARLSON.
Maybe that's where the "rude" customer service calls have came from?
[sarcasm]That sounds like ATT has hacked the phone lines.[/sarcasm]
I'm just returning from the road and have been notified Carlson has been experiencing some technical difficulties with the inbound phone lines that serve our corporate office. I have also been told we are working with our carrier to resolve the issue(s) and hope to have phone service resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime (and until normal service is restored), calls can also be directed to 606-564-6514.
Ladd,
I thing it is TERRIBLE that AT&T comes on the line with a recording after about three rings, and says line out of service, and THEY RECOMMEND PHONE NUMBERS FOR PEOPLE IN SIMILAR BUSINESS. It is you who pays AT&T and these dogs are like vultures waiting for you to get a tiny knick in your armor due to their own fault, and then recommend customers call your competitors, and give them the numbers for your competitors. I wouldn't put up with that for one second.
