Carlson Survey 2022. In the drop down Draw-Line- 2d line- LINE OPTIONS- Linetype- Select- Select Linetype- I picked "fence E entity" when I set the Spacing Scaler 50 (example) and Symbol Size .1 (example for 100' scale) the proper text shows up properly spaced in the line until I press ENTER. then the line goes to a continous line with no text. I also would like to be able to insert custom text in the line but first I have to get over this disappearing text problem. Anyone know the answer?? BTW I called Carlson Support and the tec said it was a scaling issue on my end. I changed the scale up and down and I haven't been able to get the text to stay on the line after ENTER.
It is affected by your lintype scale.?ÿ 50 is a huge gap in spacing.?ÿ I usually have a spacing of around 1 for a text size of .1

What tips do you have for changing the text option at the bottom, left of the "CUSTOM TEXT" . I wanted to create a line type with a "P" for my power lines. I inserted the Spacing 1 and Text size .1 but the P is not inserted?ÿ
@james-r-(jr)-smith I use the other type in the Annotate->Line Types->Polyline to Special Line

The Spacing is printed inch spacing.?ÿ I would look at the text height for the style you are using.
