Has anyone had experience with SurvCE running painfully slow. I used to run all my current jobs in ProgramsSurvCEdata. However, towards the end of each year Carlson would get sluggish, so I installed an SD card and moved the previous year to that card. This would make things run faster, so I thought maybe there's a connection between how much data is in a given folder and how fast Carlson runs. To circumvent the process of moving jobs from the data folder to the SD card at the end of every year I just decided to create a "2015 Jobs" folder on the SD card and operate out of that folder for this calender year. With just two small jobs in the folder, Carlson is again running painfully slow. Does anyone have any thoughts or comments?

One thing I might periodically do is to remove the batteries from the collector and then press and hold the Power button for (say) 20 seconds to discharge an internal capacitor (essentially the Hard Reset procedure offered by Juniper Systems). Once the capacitor has been depleted, re-insert the batteries and re-start the collector.
