I have been hired by a contractor to do an asbuilt survey of a Sewer Separation project and they want a profile to compare to the plan for pay item reasons.

I haven't done one with this software before and am looking for suggestions. Is there a way to draw a 3d polyline and tell it to put it into a profile?

I appreciate any help you guys can offer.

Do you have the Civil module? Under the profiles menu, select profile from 3dpoly. You can station it based off a different centerline and combine multiple polylines to a single profile.

Under the Surface menu (Survey module), choose Quick Profile. One of the options is from 3d Polyline. You can then draw it or save it to a file to work with later. The same command is also in the Civil module under the Profile menu.
